"Loved the interactive parts of the session where the students were able to handle the artefacts." Key Stage 2 teacher

To complement the Museum’s transformation, we are launching a new schools programme. During this first year we are piloting and testing new sessions and approaches. We will be evaluating all our programmes and would welcome your feedback. Please contact us with any ideas and suggestions.

Our offer for schools and colleges includes professional development courses for teachers, taught gallery sessions and workshops, post-16 gallery talks and outreach for special schools. We can also advise you on self guided visits and/or work with you to develop bespoke sessions.
